day 3 and it's getting unbearable
Yesterday was spent in Bugis/Arab Street/Clarke Quay - hanging out with the dude
Hibiscus tea with edible flower in the drink - kinda tastes like a sweeter ribena My tom yum noodle soup Saiful's pad thai It's obvious that I'm missing a certain someone who might be feasting on these exact same dishes in a place that's 2 hours away by plane. Shop selling old knick-knacks New way to cam whore Bum boat turned speed boat Chilling by the river Today was steamboat with Saiful at home - bought too much food as usual and ended up eating leftovers for dinner again. Tried picking up guitar again with the help of a great teacher - Mr Tin. But still a long way to go - still where I left it. Been busier than ever with social engagements these past few days. Not because of what but for the sake of making myself busy so unnecessary thoughts don't enter my mind. Watching the people in the bum boat, I kept thinking - if only I can be as carefree as them, going overseas on a holiday without worries of having to return to work at the end of the day, or at least for the duration which they're holidaying. I miss that feeling. Time to hit the books - but I'm still not ready to do so. |
