Confused, bothered, irritated, crazed...

Friday, April 28, 2006

How can you sell something that you don't even believe in? Honestly, we all think it needs to be improved on, but all you say is just go ahead and try it in the market.

Fine, but how can we sell convincingly when we don't believe in the product? Gee... Fine, we're not experts in this field, but then again, it doesn't take more than common sense to realise that if u promote a lousy product from the start, it will damage your brand name. People will buy the product, find it grossly overpriced and of super low quality, and will never ever buy anything of that brand ever again. Whatever, it's not my money I'm wasting. I'm just a lowly paid employee... I just find it hard to find motivation to work on it when I don't believe in the product, and have no ownership of the product at all. Haiz...

jordan for ladies... and more

Was watching Oprah today... and she had Michael Jordan as her guest! For those who don't know who Michael is, he's only the most famous legend in the sporting world; to be specific, the basketball scene. With more than 100 million of his shoes sold worldwide, there's no denying that he's THE superstar in the basketball scene.

Was watching the show and was pleasantly surprised to find out that he has come up with his new ladies' apparel range. And I love the stuff! They look fabulous! Nike, of course, and now, they even have Jordan shoes for ladies! Which means better fitting basketball shoes for ladies which look great too! Ah!

Also been catching up on episodes of the Super Band competition. Of all the Super - styled shows, I've got to say I love this one the most. The bands are so entertaining, and so much better to watch. Really like plenty of the bands in the competition and I guess this is one up for Singapore's music scene.

dog pee

You know a cute thing when you see it... but then again, not all cute things behave like they should...

Zhao Yan brought her new puppy, Snowy, down yesterday. and cute as it was, I was running after the frisky pup, who within that half an hour or so, managed to touch me with her cuteness, play with me and amaze me with her abounding energy, scare me with her loud and sudden barking at a passer-by, make my breathless by dragging me whilst running around as I was holding onto the leash, and also, surprised me by peeing on my bag.

That, I must say, is the first time I've had an animal scent mark my belonging. Well, there's always a first for everything. So I guess this prepares me for next time, when a dog might poop on my bag.

YAY!

Gone with the old,in with the new... This sentence really holds true to me now. I'm leaving my job as PR Officer at SWAMI today actually, and I will be moving on to something new. I haven't been able to confirm this thus far, but now I can proudly and gladly announce that I am finally one step closer to achieving my dream; your's truly has just received her acceptance letter in NIE!

I will be taking the Degree course, which I want so much. And I'm even in the course I chose - PE and English. But one thing still stands in my way of getting there - my Physical Proficiency Test. It's scheduled in May and I'll be swimming and training my ass off this entire month to get myself more acquainted with the test items and the water, especially. I hope practice makes perfect, cos that's what I'm intending to do from now on. A strict exercise regime and training for the items, hopefully, will be able to get me through the test. Plus, I got myself a willing free coach, all thanks to Lingna who introduced me to her friend who's able to teach me and will even do so at no fee. Really appreciate his help.

It's off to enjoy some time off tomorrow, when singing and climbing will take up the entire day. Great time to workout - both the vocals and the physical. I'm so excited with this great news! I just hope my determination and luck will get me through to reaching my dream - to get the job that I'll love and devote my life to. I sincerely hope so...
