Back to waking at an ungodly hour, being stuck within the confines of a school. I miss my holidays, although the hours were spent insignificantly. Actually, I miss being insignificant.

The school's pretty limiting in terms of PE classes - lack of space and equipment mostly cos of ongoing construction works.

Mad rush towards Wed. I just can't wait for Thurs to arrive, cos then I'll be on leave and meeting Sonia once again, and spending the remainder of the week anticipating for Saturday to arrive.

04.07.09 is the day to look forward to!

Shop till I'm pok, for pok gai

Humans are constantly inventing new and exciting ways to communicate with others. With the invention of technology, people can communicate via the Internet transcending physical space and barriers.

As we evolve, so do animals, especially those who are domesticated. Civilised and in constant contact with their human buddies, they pick up new skills and abilities, quietly observing and learning. Perhaps they ARE planning to take over the world and are just taking their time to build up their knowledge and plans.

Kino, the webcamming dog!

Plotting to take over the world??!?!?

------------------------------------------------------------------

On a totally unrelated note, I cooked fried rice for dinner today (and lunch tomorrow)! It was Jap curry with French beans in scramble eggs the night before and the excess rice of course goes to better use. Here's the improvised version of Mommy dearest's recipe adding in Taiwan sausages instead of char siew.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I seriously hate the GSS. I hate it so much exactly because I love it so much!

I hate having the urge to shop and finding it irresistable to purchase items that are so immaculately designed for consumers like us, especially when they are going for such low and undeniable prices.

I'd feel sorry for the people who spent the effort designing those beautiful bags, crafting and sewing those gorgeous dresses, those who spent hours transporting the wonderous products in and those who make a living out of displaying these exact splendid items in carefully decorated stores in such tempting manners, if I didn't buy anything at all.

So of course, for the sake of the economy, for the sake of the jobs of those working in the retail line, I have to sacrifice and spend my money buying those beautiful but evil, evil temptresses.

Yes, the plastic bag says it all. The true confession of a true shopaholic.

I do

13 June 09 - Gavin and Gina's Solemnisation

Albeit the location being a 'little' out of the way, it was a sweet ceremony with extremely great food, a beautiful bride in a gorgeous gown and a handsome groom in a one-of-a-kind wedding suit. But the couple was kinda outshone by another person... unintentionally of course -

Meet the limelight snatcher - Darius!

Just look at this handsome boy's face - how can u resist him???

Yay, I've got my hands on him! He just can't sit still though - check out his right hand; he loves clutching onto things.

Here's one with Linda, though Daddy wants to prove a point that Darius won't desert family for pretty ladies.

The happy family

All smiles again as he's so interested in grabbing my cam. Kinda got him crying cos of tht too - didn't allow him to hold my cam though he kept reaching out for it - I did let him take a self-pic though!

Naughty Daddy teaches him how to pick up ladies the wrong way - pull their hair!

A little grooming session?

And finally the bride and groom make their appearance!

Gina was kinda tripping over her dress and the concerned hubby already shows his care and love for his new bride.

Yes, tis the season to be married - falalalala, lalalala!

Barking yummy; M'sia Boleh!

Mmmm... healthy steamed meal for dinner?

Yeap, but it's not for me! It's a meal made from the heart by Aisyah and me for my dearest Kino

M'sia Boleh!

Unfamiliar decor, but love the curves used to create 'booths'

The best combi ever - crispy curly fries with icy cold rootbeer float!

Check out those beautiful curls of deep fried potatoes

Love the ceiling lights too

Liza with her mugga

Hafizah enjoying hers

Sugar high Maz?

Shopping in M'sia (be it KL or JB) is always fun with the gals! We love Aeon Bt Indah!

Brought the dogs out for a trip to Thomson, a pet shop there. View the photos on Kino's blog - http://kinos-life.blogspot.com.

Underestimated again. My sensitivity level.

Everyone, meet Strike!

Meet the new member of the family - Strike! Born on 25 Jan 09, he was purchased by mom-in-law at Serangoon on 02 Jun 09.
He's a samoyed, a fluffy little bundle of fur aptly nicknamed the smiley dog.
Named him Strike cos 1) named him after Freedom Strike Gundam & 2) for prosperous reasons - strike lottery, TOTO, 4D and so on!

The little bugger loves being carried and pampered.

Here's him and his mommy

The water bowl's too big for him so whenever he needs a drink, he would put his front paws in as well, making such a mess!

The two doggies having some fun. Kino's not really a fan of puppies. She always looks rather annoyed at their high-energy and crazy barking and whining frenzies but she's getting better at dealing with puppies with the constant contact with Strike.

The wee little bugger doesn't realise that Kino doesn't go for younger boys.

Dan's sis, Kenny, with Jaymond and Don, and of course, Strike.

Jaymond responding to his mom's request to open his eyes bigger when taking pics.

He's a really photogenic fella

Chewing on his bone

Day 2 with us -
Brought Kino over for a doggie play-date. The little bugger's relentless and kept annoying Kino.

His eye-linered eyes

The small pup is fascinated with Kino

From some angles, he totally looks like a polar bear, no?

Finally able to get some rest

He finished his pack of small bones within a day, so we had to get him larger bones

Kino resting as Strike chews on his bone

Here's day 3 - he's over at my house while we went out for some dinner. Came home to a neat house, thankfully, save for some puddles of pee around.
He loves playing fetch and tug of war

Super persistent little fella

Polar bear

Here's why they call samoyeds smiley dogs
