Shop till I'm pok, for pok gai
Humans are constantly inventing new and exciting ways to communicate with others. With the invention of technology, people can communicate via the Internet transcending physical space and barriers.
As we evolve, so do animals, especially those who are domesticated. Civilised and in constant contact with their human buddies, they pick up new skills and abilities, quietly observing and learning. Perhaps they ARE planning to take over the world and are just taking their time to build up their knowledge and plans. Kino, the webcamming dog! Plotting to take over the world??!?!? ------------------------------------------------------------------ On a totally unrelated note, I cooked fried rice for dinner today (and lunch tomorrow)! It was Jap curry with French beans in scramble eggs the night before and the excess rice of course goes to better use. Here's the improvised version of Mommy dearest's recipe adding in Taiwan sausages instead of char siew. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I seriously hate the GSS. I hate it so much exactly because I love it so much! I hate having the urge to shop and finding it irresistable to purchase items that are so immaculately designed for consumers like us, especially when they are going for such low and undeniable prices. I'd feel sorry for the people who spent the effort designing those beautiful bags, crafting and sewing those gorgeous dresses, those who spent hours transporting the wonderous products in and those who make a living out of displaying these exact splendid items in carefully decorated stores in such tempting manners, if I didn't buy anything at all. So of course, for the sake of the economy, for the sake of the jobs of those working in the retail line, I have to sacrifice and spend my money buying those beautiful but evil, evil temptresses. Yes, the plastic bag says it all. The true confession of a true shopaholic. |
