cat disturbance

Got jolted awake by another cat this morning. I was sleeping in the room when I heard a super loud crash - jolted straight up from bed and rushed out to see. The first thing I thought when I heard the crash was that the newly installed mirror or assembled display cabinet had somehow crashed to the floor. But when I came out, what I saw instead was a mess of a fallen hamster cage with 2 very frightened and shocked hamsters scrambling around. Turns out another cat jumped in through the windows and this time, I guess this one was rather hungry and decided to make a meal out of my 2 rather chubby hamsters. So I was up at 5 plus cleaning up the mess in the living room. Sorry Vodka, but you'll be sleeping in the living room from now on to prevent any more startling wake-up calls like that.
