Zoo and Prawning
Labour day was a busy busy day... As usual, Dan and I went to the zoo and there were sooooo many people there! Many may wonder why on earth would we want to visit the zoo annually - that weren't we sick of the animals there? Actually, there's always something new whenever we visit... it's rather amazing really, and quite interesting for us as well, to see how it has changed. In the spirit of the late Steve Irwin Dan says that this monkey looks like Andy Lau... look at his super cool expression! An emo monkey sitting alone on the field
This here is the oldest creature in the S'pore zoo... at 70+ years old... meet Astove... Obviously I've lost out in the battle of who has the bigger mouth... Doesn't the face of this bat look like Vodka? It took the two of us to take this pic... Danny had to piggyback me whilst I took this pic... Teasing the monkey for its small ding dong... Dan with the shed snake skin that he found Intimidating when the king of the jungle locks his gaze on you
Anyways, went for dinner at ECP after that and had our fav salted veg duck soup, and chicken wings, where someone insisted that she only eats the wing when she was chomping on the DRUMLET. Went prawning after that where we caught about 10 in total, but ended up with 50 to BBQ... all thanks to the kind uncles there who donated their prawns (some super gigantic ones as well) to us. Yummy yummy feast after that man! |
