Soup & Satay
Went to this cafe near Dan's workplace for dinner yesterday. The satay there was superb! Meaty and juicy, but not oily. Plus, cooked to perfection! The sauce of course was wonderful as well, for what is good satay without great sauce? Besides that, I totally love the Blackforest Milkshake as well. Creamy and sooooo tasty... it's basically chocolate shake with bits of chocolate and cherry in it. Chocolaty, milky with a tinge of cherry fragrance - I highli recommend it! The entire meal came to about $30 though - we had 20 sticks of satay with 2 ketupats, as well as oxtail soup and tauhu goreng, I think. Forgot the last dish. Dan had this chendol drink as well. Definitely more pricey than normal mamaks, but with a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining in someone's home. Also, minus the smokiness in other places that sell satay. I think I'd definitely go back for more satay and the yummy shake.
