I hate rainy days and stupid $5 slippers!

I now know why I love the sun, constantly looking out the windows in Sheryl's room during today's mugging session, to the amusement of everyone. I HATE rainy days - the cold, wet, filthy feeling u get after walking in the rain, albeit carrying an umbrella, is damn irritating. What else do I hate about it? Well, let's just blame it on a pair of stupid $5 slippers, the wet weather and a super rough surface for ruining my day.

Thinking that I was going to be late for an oh-so-important Physio revision class (which only 4 people attended), I pushed my luck by walking with slightly hastened steps as I made my way up the slope to Blk 5. And along my way, I met Dr John Tan. Said hi and walked quickly past him, hoping not to be caught in an awkward position of being stuck in the lift with him. Lo and behold, right at the top of the slope, when I thought that I'd be safe from the clutches of the slippery ground, I slipped oh-so-graciously, finding myself kneeling on the ground with my knee and toes scraping on the ground upon kneeling. According to Sheryl, Dr Tan must have thought that I'm a crazy person kneeling and praying before going in for my exams.

Anyways, there I am, garang as ever, picking myself up as if nothing happened, and I move on to the lift quickly, furiously pressing on the button. Amidst the fluster and attempt at making my fall less obvious, I failed to realise the extent of my injuries. Until I got to the lift lobby and felt stinging in my knee and toes. And there I am greeted by 2 bloodies toes - super bloodied might I add, plus a freaking bloody Mary red knee. And whilst I was waiting for the lift, from the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow looming in - there he is, waiting to board the same lift as me. Haiz... there's my plan of avoiding being stuck in the lift with him.

Anyways, there's the blow-by-blow account of how I sustained injuries today, as requested by Sheryl who had to get me to do anything but studying to reduce the guilt she feels for sleeping whilst the rest of us studied.

And yes, this I do a day before my first exam paper, which I don't feel particularly confident about. To hell with my GPA. I'm taking a break.
