Vodka's Out of the Boarding Home!
I'm glad to announce that Vodka's finally out of the boarding home! After 1 month's residence (a very costly stay, might I add), Vodka has finally left the confines of the cage and the small backyard of the boarding location and has moved in to my friend's place as of today.
Although he may miss the company of the pet store's 3 bull dogs, but at least he gets more space to live in now and he'll get frequent walks. Super grateful to Xu Yong and his wife for agreeing to house him for the remaining month till our place is ready. By the way, Xu Yong's terrified of dogs. He reasons that he'll enter his house with a metal gate to fend of the 'ferocious' Vodka (ferocious licker, perhaps). Darling Vodka's much stockier and a bit bulky, which isn't necessarily bad cos he's finally looking more muscular than lanky. And I finally got to hug him again today! I miss that furry bundle. Hehe... though I did get my clothes to stink of dog after that, cos apparently he hasn't had a shower in a while. Eeeks! While on the subject of pets, I've noticed that my hamsters have become abnormally problematic. I have 3 cages with 5 hamsters - one houses Fluffy and Tres (who is a three-legged hammy having lost his left front leg as a baby), Baby (who injured her hind foot with a serious sprain - her foot points in the opposite direction now) and Ziggy and Stitch (who has an abnormally large lump originating from his mouth). Me and my entourage of freak hamsters. Ta-da! |
