dinner
Had a class outing today at Fig & Olive at Vivo City... The food there's really not bad actually... and I guess we had some nice sniggers on a potentially blooming romance in our class... haha... actually, more like constant teasing lah... kinda like back to sec sch actually... nice to be immature and childish once in a while and tease others with such things...
Volleyball today was painful, cos of the service practice I had before the actual class. Nursing a swollen ring finger, thumb, and forearm. Everyone seemed off form today, and we started with 5 versus 6 initially, till Sheryl came and joined our team instead. We lost in the end, both sets in fact, prob due to fact that our service was horrible, plus we weren't really communicating that much and we were kinda all over the play. Something about the dynamics of the team just seemed weird. Plus, personally, I felt that the guys were trying to do too much... a bit too much over their ability... like trying to set for a spike when we could have just easily sent it over instead... but ended up missing the spike and losing a point. Oh well, no point crying over spilt milk now... But I have to say that I do find myself liking volleyball more and more now... Wow, it sounds like a horror film in my neighbourhood now... I've got cats howling and yeowling in the night... kinda creepy... prob mating season... |
