food
After climbing yesterday, went for dinner at Tanjong Pagar train station where Saiful and I had Baseball Soto... if you're wondering what that is, it's just a 'bergedale' (the potato puff thingie), a gigantic one about the size of a baseball, filled with mutton in the middle, in soto soup... it's really nice, and despite it only being nothing more than a potato ball, it's really filling too! But then again, I did have Beef Chilli Cheese Fries at Carl's Junior with Wing. Haven't seen him in a while and we went out for lunch and a bit of shopping cos he's looking for a pair of shoes...
Being at the train station made me feel like travelling to M'sia... miss taking a train to KL, and actually, miss the shopping and food, as well as a certain Ms Ong from there too... Hopefully I can pop by there soon... Saiful's actually gonna be going there during the X'mas season to climb at Batu Caves, and shopping and climbing at One Utama too... so tempting, but I'm already going to Bangkok this Fri... so budget's gonna be a prob if I wanna go... still contemplating... sounds fun but intimidating too, what with the natural wall climbing... Packed my bags for Bangkok already, and for some reason, though I am psyched about the trip, I actually feel a bit not as excited and as looking forward to the trip as I would have imagined... Dunno why either, but I hope I get into the shopping mood once I'm there... |
