stressed in sch

School has been interesting - with some wonderfully entertaining lecturers, as well as the many sports we've been playing in our free time. Glad to say that my class is quite united in the sense that we do things together, eat together, go to class together, and sit together in class. Perhaps it's cos we are a small class, of only 13.

Went to watch NTU's bball team's training yesterday, since I can't really participate with my sprained ankle and all. But they're saying that we can go down for trainings as selection will not happen so soon and we can still train on till then.

I don't mind that - in fact, I'm in favour of that, since I'm not one to train just so to be on the team and to play competitions. In fact, I doubt I can make it on the team, what with national players like Xueling, Mabelline, Cheryl, Mei Feng... and I think there's more whom I've missed out... plus, there's this French lady who is tall and so fit... she looks like an WNBA player! Plus she's good too! She's real tough and can play as a wonderful center.

Actually there's a lot of players in NTU whom I know - but it's quite interesting since it's a combination of all; there's Xiao Qi who's my pri sch classmate, Xueling and Mabelline who I got to know through Danny, Ee Ping, Jac and Cheryl, who were my ex-teamates in Chong Ghee.

Watched Michelle playing with them since I wanted to be there, yet I couldn't train... going down for the next training on Mon. Hopefully by then I can jump and run around normally.

Also saw "James" from the OPSS camp at the NTU basketball courts. He was playing in the next court - apparently, he's also a first-year student there.

Was talking to a senior on the bus ride home yesterday and she mentioned all the workloads and stuff, and I found myself getting a headache just hearing about all the work that will come. I actually began to panic, I believe. The headache even lasted all the way till the next morning - geez! But I think I finally managed to take it easier now and just get things done when they come my way... and not try to worry myself to death. Being in U is really so much more different than being in poly; in poly, we had a 16-week semester, and in U, just a 10-week semester. It's gonna be crazy!!
