back from camp
Had a great time in the 2 camps at NIE. The first being the NIE Freshmen Orientation Camp for BA/BSc students, and the second being the NIE PESS Camp.
Had a wonderful time making new pals there, getting to know my future classmates, as well as schoolmates better. The most memorable thing about the BA/BSc camp is definitely the fright night. It was so well done and so scary that I screamed so much till I nearly lost my voice. Then my group was kinda funny too, making stupid jokes and scaring ourselves when we were in pitch black, surrounded by the 'ghosts'. Didn't help that the day after was the beginning of the 7th month. The PESS camp after that was fantastic. It was carried out so well, and we had so much fun playing the games and sports. It's one of the best camps I've ever been to. And despite my tiredness, I was reluctant to actually leave the camp cos we had so much fun there, and met so many great friends there. The PESS community in NIE is really small, and I guess that's why we're all so closely bonded. And all thanks to this camp, I think we're all just brought together,as they say, as a family. Really am looking forward to the start of sch. The baby hamsters are fine and growing up well, as one-week olds now. Their hair has started to grow, but unfortunately, one of the babies lost one of its front paws. Despite that, it actually grew to be bigger than its sibling! |
