shopping yesterday!

Had a fruitful shopping session yesterday. Dan and I went to Orchard to shop for his CNY clothes. He did buy 3 T-shirts, and that's about it. Haha... did drop by Far East Plaza to try the Fried Mars Bars... Delicious, I'd say! So wonderfully melt-in-your-mouth heaven! Haha... we had the fish and chips as well, tiny pieces of fish nuggets that were so filling, and quite salty. Otherwise, that was a good snack. Will definitely patronise that store more in the future.

I managed to buy some stuff over in Far East Plaza as well - bought a couple of knickers and a pair of jeans. Initially, I wanted to go Bugis to buy a pair of jeans. But thankfully, I managed to find them at a cheaper price in Far East! Yay! Then, we made our way to HMV where Dan bought me a pair of really cute shoes! So adorable! They don't look all that amazing at first glance, but once you try them on, you'll get so hooked on them! So Dan bought it for me, even though it was $38 a pair. But it's totally worth it! Yay! Love em!

Having spent a long and tiring day full of shopping at Orchard, we were starving for some solid good food. We decided to stop by Cine and had some munching at Cafe Cartel. We both had the ribs each and wow, it was so filling, I couldn't even finish the dish. It wasn't all that great though, cos the meat was a bit tough since it was overdone, and the sauce was too salty. I doubt I'll ever have the full slab of ribs again by myself though.

Played bball with Dan in the morning before we went off to shop in Orchard. It was fun, and it's been a long time since I've enjoyed playing bball and training my shots with someone under the hot scorching noon sun. Though I look like a cooked lobster now, i really enjoyed myself, with Dan nonetheless.

Hong Kah North will be going for the Women's Open games this coming February. Am so looking forward to it. Haven't had the chance to play in any competition since almost an entire year ago, and I really want to try my best and show my reformed self on the court; someone who plays her best and strives for the best in the game and in her performance while maintaining her sportsmanship and unitedness with her team. That'll be my goal for the competition, if I do get to play, that is. Hehe... guess I'm being a tad too impatient and way ahead of my league.
