khatib

Went dining with Dad and Mom at Khatib 848 - had a huge dinner, though it was only at a coffee shop. But it was gratifying and scrumptious nonetheless. Sometimes, coffeeshops provide the best food ever.

Here's what we had - stewed pork knuckles, fishball soup, bee hoon (ngoh hiong style), frog's leg and bbq stingray (the best I've had so far!).

It was tons of delicious food that I missed having - still remember how my bball pals and I used to play bball at the courts nearby then head over to share the spicy but super shiok sting ray, fighting over the proportions. Haha... really miss those days.

After dinner, we headed over to this flower market in front Yishun stadium - they have really wonderful flowers there - and my fav hydrangeas! Beautiful, I say! (Check out the photos in the pics section)

Went shopping at Sun Plaza after tht - bought some CNY cookies, then Dad bought a pair of jeans at $14.90, and went grocery shopping at NTUC after. All in all, I had a great night - great food, great company.

A great night, that is, until I got home and realised I have some unresolved work stuff - needed to print and am still desperately looking for help... aik!!!
