Back from KL

It's yet another end to another wonderful trip. I love travelling! I love foreign air, sights, food and sounds!

Though I didn't feel perfectly well this trip, I did enjoy myself nevertheless, with us shopping ourselves senseless and all.

It's the first time I went travelling with Liza, Hafizah, Maz and Aisyah. Quite fun actually. We stayed in The Royale Bintang, a not-too-bad hotel. We got adjoining rooms.

The first day was spent with Liza and Hafizah. Maz and Aisyah were to arrive the next day. Anyways, we got a taste of the horrid traffic in KL on our first day there. Hafizah's cousin, who picked us up from the bus terminal, got caught in traffic and we had to wait practically45min for her! Not to mention that we got off the wrong stop and had to renavigate her to the correct one. Haha what a start to the trip yeah? Tired and 'bus-lagged'.

Anyways, went to check in (with Liza becoming Maz for the day!) and went on for the start of our crazy shopping trip! Went shopping in the same area for the few days - Sungei Wang, BB Plaza, Berjaya Times Square. Then there were the further ones - One Utama, The Curve, Ikano, and the night market in the Damansara area.

On the first day, our day ended only at 3am. Hafizah's cousin, Alia, brought us to the night market and we shopped around for hours there. The market opened only at about 11pm and we managed to grab a few good buys! Bought a Tag Heuer watch for Dan for only 20RM! Haha... fake of course, but it looks good enough. After the shopping at the night market, went on to have some late night supper at this place with a great cheese naan - totally cheesy, not to mention oily too actually. I think it was Steven's or something like tht. A Chinese hang-out area mostly.

The next day started with our resident mermaid [or Dugong, as Maz puts it! Haha!] (Liza) bugging us to go to the pool. And all thanks to the early morning dip in the freezing cold waters of the tiny pool with the streaming jets (cos we didn't manage to go into the big pool due to our dressing), I got myself a cold which caused me to sneeze the entire day, non-stop.

Picked up Maz and Aisyah (who were a bit grumpy, to be honest, but totally understandable cos we had them wait for us at the terminal cos they arrived much earlier than expected - plus they did have a long day in the bus) and headed out for shopping. The poor gals... didn't even have time to rest their feet in the hotel and we just zoomed them off to shop. Haha... headed to 1 Utama and shopped in the gigantic mall. It was another long shopping day as we headed to Ikano and The Curve after that, and the night market as our last stop.

There's this pet shop near the night market and they've these super-duper cute cats and kittens on sale there! There's this real adorable honey tht's just soooooo cute! The fluffy round face and big bright eyes! Then there was this one with deep orange-red eyes. So enchanting, yet scary at the same time. And then there was that huge tabby which looked like a mini grey tiger! Haha...

It was such a tiring day. We returned to the hotel and I had an early night, what with me feeling unwell and all.

The next day was spent in the Bukit Bintang area once again. We did some more shopping and met up with Alia in the evening, as she had to work in the day. Had dinner at Kenny Rogers (a 1/4 chicken meal with 3 side dishes and 1 scrumptious muffin for only RM12.90!) and went back to the hotel after dinner for some slack time in our rooms.

Left for home the next day, but not before I bought my 2 Goose feather pillows for only RM89! They were on half price and I've been having such great rest with the purchase. Haha... gave one to Dan and he was so delighted!

Saw these 3 kittens in the dinner stop during the bus ride back. The kittens were so adorable! So playful and cute! The pics are in my cam... will upload them soon.

The journey back was a tedious one, all thanks to the jam in JB right at the customs. Reached home at 11pm+ and had a great night's sleep on my new pillow! Haha!

My purchases from the trip? Here it goes:

1) 2 pairs of shoes from Vincci
2) 5 tube tops
3) 4 tops
4) 2 goose feather pillows
5) 1 watch for myself
6) 1 Corpse Bride DVD
7) 1 watch for Dan
8) A Nike T-shirt for Dan
9) A polo-tee for Dad
10) 2 packs of snacks for Mom

Looking forward to my next trip... Hopefully it'll be to my fav of all time, BANGKOK!
