cool breezy nite

It's a cool breezy night today... been so long since I've experienced such a weather. I've always loved cool days - the wind blowing past, brushing against me, enveloping me in its cold embrace. The wet air feels so nice - so welcoming and so relaxing, just enough to send a minor chill down my back.

Went shopping again yesterday with Dan, Charles and Aiway. Went to Bugis this time and we all bought something, except for Aiway. I bought myself another new top for CNY; an orange button-down top with a flower brooch.

After parting ways with Charles and Aiway who went to Orchard in search of a white top for Charles, Dan and I continued to shop in Bugis before deciding to make our way to PS to watch Harry Potter. Charles and Aiway came over to watch the show with us as well. Before the show, Dan and I had the Indonesia BBQ chicken (yummy! love the lightly charred grilled chicken thigh). After which, we proceeded to the 2nd row of the packed cinema theatrette.

Sure, it wasn't a great seat but at least we managed to watch the movie; the 2 and 1/2 hour movie which gave me a butt cramp after having seated there for so long. A few scenes were abrupt, but overall, the show was good. More mysteries unfold and the story thickens, with more characters coming in and more surprises taking place. Never did read the book, though I really do enjoy the movies. Am looking forward to the next one already.

A few seemingly good movies are coming up - Memoirs of a Geisha, The Promise, The Chronicals of Narnia. December looks set to be a good month for movie watching.
