patience is a virtue

Patience is a virtue that few possess... this is something i have learnt from my working life...

We always get calls frm our clients asking for help to make bookings... and most of them call looking for my Ticketing Manager, Pauline. She's the most experienced amongst all of us and thus the most popular. Armed with amazing memory and the skill of conversing with clients as if they're all friends, our clients obviously look for her more often than not. And with so many people calling for her, of course there are the unfortunate few who just can't get through to her and end up being bounced to us... lucky me, my number is the first one that her calls bounce to, so i get plenty of calls asking for her.

And when someone as popular as her gets so many calls, she can't possibly call back so many people. Thus, some people may have to wait longer than others... and then who do they blame when she doesn't call back? They of course blame the one who picks up the phone... and guess who's that lucky fella? more often than not, it's me... argh...
