Yes! Today is the day, finally... it's time for Thailand! haha... came back not long ago from the fishing trip to East Coast, then Tanjong Rhu (Kallang)... very tired and sore now... got sunburnt! argh...

We reached East Coast Park (Carpark G Area) and started fishing there... as usual, i did not fish... left to cycle soon after... i cycled from where we were to the end of the park and back to our spot... it was tiring and has left me sore, but nevertheless a wonderful sense of fulfilment fills me... hehe... nearly crashed twice ... but mostly not my fault... the first time was at this bridge or something... these 3 girls were hogging the road and i only had a small gap to squeeze through... i thought i was about to crash into them as i zoomed past and i literally mean zoomed past cos we were so close to one another... could actually hear a 'Zoom!'... haha... anyways, got away unscathed... my second challenge was when these 3 girls in front of me stopped suddenly on this very narrow track... nearly crashed into them but thankfully i braked on time... so there u go! an accident-free bicycle ride at East Coast... so proud of myself! haha...

We left for Tanjong Rhu when we realised there weren't that many fish to catch in East Coast... cld only get one fish... caught by Elmer (Dan's bro)... i tried to catch one too but was unsuccessful... clever fish... evaded my plan perfectly for not even biting the bait... darn...

Went to Tanjong Rhu at about 5pm i think... it was quite a refreshing change... no sun for one... i was already smoked by the time we got away from East Coast... the sun was so freaking scorching hot... anyways... they caught a few fish and crabs today... overall, it was not bad... we talked a lot and i kept walking around, entertaining different people... Ah Zhun, Dan, Li Tong, Elmer, Ah Tai and his wife...

In this whole trip, i think a total of about approximately 5 or 6 crabs were caught... about 6 or 7 fish caught and 2 crabs tortured and killed by Elmer... he tore the crab into pieces after poking around with it... geez... so cruel no?

Was most happy at pack-up... i was up and about in a matter of seconds, helping to pack up so i cld go home and get a much needed shower and sleep... was unable to fall asleep the previous night cos i took an afternoon nap... tossed and turned in bed for almost 3 hrs before finally falling asleep...

And now, i think i won't have problems sleeping... so tired i can barely open my eyes... yawns... and when it's time to wake up tmr, it's off to Thailand we go! Pray for us while we're gone k? Hope we'll have a safe trip and enjoy ourselves too... meanwhile, it's off blogging till i get back from Thailand... enjoy the holidays peeps! Take care!
