run! run for my life!

Was looking for Sunshine flour everywhere today... went to about 3 places looking for it... gave up and asked Van for the cookie recipe instead... thanks Van! Sorry for the trouble!

Anyways, one of the 3 places was Giant at Sembawang Shopping Center... i was walking around and this guy selling fruits there asked me if i wanted to buy some lychee or something... he's about 20, i think... anyways, i declined and walked away, carrying on with my shopping...

I forgot abt the guy until i walked past the fruits section again... he asked me if i wanted to buy mangosteens this time, and even offered me a free mangosteen... *oh wow! har!* i quickly declined and didn't even look at him, only wanting to carry on with my shopping and go home...

"Want a mangosteen? Very sweet one! Come, i give u one for free? EH, MISS! Come, i wanna ask u something!"

I was gone like the wind man... geez... what a place to try and pick up girls... and what a pick-up line yeah? haha...

Went to Bukit Ho Swee yesterday to watch Dan play bball once again... somehow, Ah Tai seemed quite out of sorts... kept so quiet and seemed so sad, for some reason... anyways, he was saying tht he might 'disappear', which is what he used to do... 'disappear' in the sense tht he won't be playing bball and contact any people... i was quite sad after hearing tht... barely got to know him and he's all ready to disappear... how can someone just 'disappear' like that? I guess i'm bothered by this cos he just seemed so nonchalant yet melancholy about it...
