exorcist... shit scared man!

Well, had my interview at Country Manna yesterday (cos it's past 12am already...) actualy it wasn't really an interview... it was more like i was already hired on the spot and he was telling me the workings of the restaurant... i'll prob be eating more Country Manna food cos they provide lunch... hehe... shld be cool... i like their food actually... i've never really been a waitress before... but when i was young, i remember going to this huge McDonald's at City Hall and hoping to become a waitress someday... and now i can fulfil that childhood dream of mine! hahaha... what a joke man... the naivity of a child... i'm starting work next week... hope all goes well... glad i finally found a job... can finally earn some money for my savings account... time to return all the money i've withdrawn and spent quite recklessly... haiz...

Went to watch Zhao Yan, Danny, Xie Jun and Charles play bball at 140 just now... cos i was quite bored at home so i went down after my "interview"... Charles was funny as usual and their games ended up as comic relief... haha... i dunno why i went all the way down to batok also... think it was cos i missed dan... just felt like seeing him so i went there... i figured i'd better spend more time with him before i start working and have less time for him... anyways, dan's mom called him and asked him to go watch exorcist... i didn't wanna watch it at first cos i wanted to save money (for the Thailand trip) and also cos i dun like to watch horror flicks... esp since we're watching the 9.30pm show... but he said he'd pay for me (thanks dear!) and further more, the movie's quite nice too, from what i've heard... it's been quite hyped up too... so i decided to go along...

went to westmall to meet dan's mom and dad... went to G2000 cos his dad wanted to buy some clothes... the salesgirl there was new... quite blur and service was quite bad, even though she was friendly... i guess she's just new and dunno the workings in the store well enough yet... give her time yeah... i bet she'll improve... anyways, dan's dad bought 4 tops and 2 pair of pants, i think... so rich... can just shop and buy things just like that... wish i had that kinda of spending power... anyways, saw the suits there... quite tempted to try them on but didn't... always wondered how i'd look in a suit... i love suits... they're so formal and makes one look so smart... like a dominatrix... haha... anyways, dan's mom then went to Osmose to buy a skirt and top... again, such spending power... haiz... saw these belts tht were quite nice... bling bling... haha... quite ex though... was thinking of going to Thailand to find things like these and buy from there cos they're much cheaper there... hehe... hope i get lots of good buys from there...

went to Swensen's for dinner after all that shopping... zhao yan came and joined us there... we had lots of sides like rodeo wings, calamari, salad and a seafood soup... being with danny's family has given me a life that i'd probably never have if it wasn't for him... i seldom go to fancy places to dine... my family normally never spends more than $30 for a meal... but with dan's family... one meal can go up to $300... it's just amazing how different people can have such different spending powers and lives... but i'm grateful and glad that i'm able to get a peek into a rich person's life and be part of it too... i had fish & chips at Swensen's... my food came extre late so even before it came, i was already half-full, stuffing myself with the side dishes... the food was quite good actually... loved the fish & chips... and the calamari was nice too...

went to Kopi Roti after tht... kinda like an imitation Ya Kun... but it's not bad too... quite creative actually... they had ice blended Horlicks... haha... but quite tasteless cos Horlicks and ice = tasteless... haha...

went to watch Exorcist after that... entered the theatre late... but didn't miss much... it was quite a good movie... keeps u at the edge of your seat... i was at least... a couple of funny bits (esp from the devil) and a couple of scary scenes where things suddenly pop up and scare the s**t out of you... u will feel like things will be happening anytime soon and tht's what keeps u feeling scared... it's the anticipation tht keeps u focused and scared... quite interesting... oh, just a tip... dun think the way the characters in the film think for who the devil is possessing... just recall the thrillers and remember the gender of the devil... then u'll know who it is... and as usual, the devil never dies the first time, so do watch out...

i think the movie is kinda focused on religion and your faith in it... cos ultimately, that's what triumphed eventually... but as u prob already know, it's not the final time that the devil appears ( if it was, then this wldn't be the prequel now would it?)

got to go Han's home to do Convex later... haiz... last assignment for this semester... kinda happy that all these are over and done with... the headache now lies in what module to put as my first choice for next sem... haiz...
