Shopping frenzy!
Been shopping for the past 2 days... tmr will be yet another shopping day as Aisyah and I will be going to town to buy Sonia's wedding gift. So that would make it 3 days in a row. Whoo hoo! Yesterday was a fruitful shopping day - managed to buy 3 items for about $113. Bought 2 dresses (one for Sonia's wedding and another for CNY) and a white satin shirt, all from the same shop. And my BB paid for all the items, so thanks darling!
As for today, shopped in M'sia and for the first time in a very long time, I didn't manage to buy any shoes. Wanted to buy black patented pumps or heels, but decided against it. Ended up buying 3 pairs of earrings, and a bracelet (paid for by BB again) and a jacket at RM39. Hope that means I'll have more things to buy in KL, although I doubt so cos I think I'm more careful a spender now. Next Saturday it is then! SO excited!

Pictures!
Vodka with his duckie toy... he's killed on of it already, tearing off the wing and pulling all the cotton in it. I think he really thinks that it's a real duck sometimes, the way he grabs it by the neck and wrestles with it.
This adorable dog here is Bear. He's a 6-year old Pomeranian at the SPCA. Went there after our paper yesterday and saw this adorable darling doggie. Went in and played with him as well. Super active and in good condition for a 6-yr old. Wonder why the owner could bear to give up such a darling dog. Would have brought it back if we didn't have Vodka already. Do pop by SPCA for a look if u are really keen to own such a lovable dog. He's quite obedient as well, and is very friendly with people. I really hope he finds a loving owner who will take good care of him. He'll probably be adopted really soon, cos small dogs that are HDB approved like him get snapped up really quickly, especially since he's such a darling.
Time to chill
Exams are finally over... it feels good to be able to sleep late and wake up after 12noon. No more worrying about having to hit the books the next day. Wanted to go for a walk in Chinese Garden, but woke up too late for that so skipped it today. Never mind, I'll make it my holiday resolution... which would be to visit Chinese Garden, complete walking the entire Macritchie, Bukit Timah NR, Bukit Batok NR, Sungei Buloh wetlands, Sentosa and Ubin. These are the places I wanna go... decided to travel around in Singapore, rather than spend more money going overseas. Haha...
Going to JB tmr for some shopping and food with Eileen and prob Sheryl(if she doesn't pang seh again)... should be great! Next sat, it's KL!

I will miss you, Tres
My hamster population is dwindling... from 5, it's down to 4 now. Beloved Tres passed away earlier today, falling into a deep sleep never to awake again. I saw him lying there soundly in the little house when I was feeding them this morning. I'm quite sad cos I haven't been spending much time with my hamsters recently, especially since I've been busy with the exams and spend most of my time playing with Vodka instead. So my dear hammies, esp the recently departed Tres, I'm sorry I haven't been a good owner, but I hope you've had a great life in your little abodes.
Soon, the numbers will dwindle down further to just 2 as I'm giving dear Ziggy and Stitch away, the babies of the lot (they're almost 1 yr old already though - to call them baby hamsters would be unfitting). But they were the last batch of babies that Baby gave birth to, so in my eyes, they're the babies still. I'm giving them to my aunty, who has requested for 2 hamsters. I love them dearly but I just haven't had the time to handle them and give them the love they desire, so hope they'll have a better life with my aunty. They're the fattest of the bunch now too. Greedy fellas. At least one plus point would be that I would never see them die, something which I'd rather not deal with, really. It'll save me from another 2 occassions of heartbreak, the way mine did this morning when I spotted Tres. Vodka did give me some consolation when I cried in his fur. He was extremely caring today, tagging me along in the house, following me loyally as if he knew I was upset and wanted to cheer me up just with his company. It did help me, strangely, and I am happy to have such a wonderful dog. I just want to enjoy his company, not wanting to think of unhappy moments and occassions. Let's hope the day never arrives, and we will live in one another's company forever - just the three of us, and my hammies.

Holiday Plans
Ok, still haven't tackled the exams, yet am still thinking ahead of what to do in the hols... was discussing with Hakim on the ride home after the class BBQ that day, and we've come up with 4 activities that we can do as a class.
Numero Uno: trip to Ubin (hiking please) Haven't been to Ubin since the doggone days... which is freaking long. Number 2: Sentosa! Beach volleyball, soccer, frisbee and the cool waters with the sandy beaches (sans dog poop)... here I come! Number 3: Trip to the local museums - ok, if Ubin's doggone years, this is dinosaur-gone years... Number 4: Climbing! This is one activity that I will carry out even if no one in the class is keen on joining me... hehe... come on climbing buds! The holidays is the time to climb!

Just another 2 weeks or so...
I keep telling myself that... waiting for the time to arrive, when I finally can stop worrying about sch for at least a month, and enjoy by basking in senseless activities in the holidays... senseless yet cheap fun. Anyone keen on joining me can tag along... 4 papers to go... and I am totally clueless on how I'm going to start studying for them. So many things to do, so little time. Actually, I kinda wished the paper was sooner so that the holidays will be starting sooner, but then again, the impending papers aren't that much of a comfort either.
Although next sem should be much tougher, I'm just gonna chuck that thought aside for the mo and concentrate on the closer event, that being the exams first. Yesterday's test just totally blew me off track. Pining for some peace and quiet, tranquil time in some deserted island far faaaar away from all the hustle bustle of S'pore. Take me away from all these; I need to think and find myself again.
